Electric Vehicle and alternate energy battery company seeking experienced grant writer to research, solicit, lobby, and write grants applications and complete all other paperwork required for submittal to state, federal, and non-profit organizations.
Position will be on contract basis initially but could lead to full time employment.
The successful candidate will have experience in writing grants. We realize that the experience may not be in electric vehicles or alternate energy.
Company is based out of California and is currently manufacturing overseas, with distribution in the U.S. and Mexico. We are looking to bring operations to MI. The requested grants will be from the state of Michigan, Michigan non-profit agencies, advocates of alternate energy, and federal level agencies. We are already in the process of negotiations with the state for tax credits and incentives so there will be a foundation to build upon.
Interviews will be held immediately in the Metro Detroit area. All candidates wil be required to provide writing samples.
