A commercial general contractor seeks a job cost accountant to perform the following duties: accounts payable coding, posting, and payment, accounts receivable coding, posting, and depositing, company payroll and related reporting for taxes and withholding, certified payroll reporting for the entity and their subcontractors, and human resource administration.
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of job costing and a general knowledge of construction is preferred. This person must also have experience with Microsoft Office products and a general knowledge of computers. The candidate must have a general knowledge of payroll rules and deposit regulations and some experience with certified payroll reporting is recommended.
All candidates will be academically tested in the area of job cost and payroll during the interview process and will undergo a criminal background check upon hire.
