Experienced Mortgage Loan Processor needed for HIGH VOLUME, busy retail mortgage banking office. As a national origination center, our office generates a rolling pipeline of approximately 100-150 loans per month. We rely heavily on our operations staff, and are looking for a very energetic person with a proactive and positive attitude. Qualified individuals should be have a passion for the business, and love a challenging work environment. This position is performance based, and the person selected should expect to earn well over $100k per year.

Loan Officer takes complete application
Full 2 year work history, with correct phone #’s
Full 2 year residential history
Full asset information, with account #’s
Completed REO section if rental properties liens must be matched with credit report
Complete declaration section
Sign and date 1003
Requests 1 FULL month pay stubs and 1 month bank statements/other asset statements
Pulls credit and completes initial review
Loan Officer discusses rate with borrower and will either Lock Rate OR Float, which will be documented on File Submission Form
FILE TO PROCESSOR
-Processor uploads file into LOS
-Processor review pay stubs, calculates income, reviews assets and credit report and makes any necessary changes to 1003. Once completed, Processor runs file for DU approval.
-If file is approve/eligible, processor prepares and sends initial disclosures to the borrower, along with a list of items needed for submission. At this time, Processor makes intro call to borrower to verify information and interest.
FILE IS OFFICIALLY IN PROCESS!!
Processor requests:
Title, tax cert and verifies amount needed for escrows
Appraisal, once inspection is complete
HOI with correct loan #, mortgagee clause and verifies there is sufficient coverage
Payoff (when applicable)
Once the above is received, processor will verify:
Clear title, no judgments, additional liens, taxes current, etc. Will work with title to get clear title if needed
FILE TO UNDERWRITING
-Once approval is received, Processor will work with Loan Officer to clear all conditions.
-Once all conditions are cleared, and CTC is issued, Processor will prepare file, and schedule closing
