Part Time position available for Optical Account Receivable Specialist. Under the direction of the Business Manager, the Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures that all customer invoice questions are answered, determines appropriateness of account credit memos and calls upon delinquent accounts for payment. Position may include scheduling patient recalls and backing up the business office staff. Knowledge of insurance, co-pays etc beneficial.
•Strong communication and problem solving skills
•Able to work independently with minimal supervision
•Team player
•Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
•Ability to learn internal Accounts Receivable computer application
•Collection experience preferred
•Optical knowledge would be a plus
•Part time late afternoon, evening and Saturday. Approximately 20-24 hours per week.
Compensation will be determined on experience.
