We have an immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Accountant with a strong background using ADP (PayExpert), administering ADP software and services including payroll, tax, and wage garnishments as well as acting as primary contact for communication and issue resolution between ADP and company.
Previous experience supporting financial accounting is required, including supporting A/P and Financial Accounting, reconciling general ledger accounts and supporting budgeting and auditing activities.
Position manages the preparation, processing, distribution and reporting of a biweekly multi-state payroll. Processes year-end requirements for timely distribution and accuracy of W2s. Files and deposits quarterly and annual state and federal forms, not handled by ADP in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
4+ years multi-state payroll
Requires a good understanding of multi-state wage and labor laws
Strongly prefer experience using ADP products (PayExpert preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Prefer experience using JD Edwards software
AA/BA/BS in Finance/Accounting
CPP (Plus but not required)
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $48-$52K (DOQ)
