Our client located in Minneapolis is looking for a Medical Claims Specialist. This is a temporary position that could become a temporary-to-hire role. The position is with a very well known non-profit organization.
Uses multiple accounting/database computer systems to review, research, code, and enter medical claims. Ensures medical claims are processed in an accurate and timely manner according to established procedures and contracts.
Enters patient assistance and patient grants for payment.
Imports and reconciles data from electronic invoice transmissions (EDI).
We are looking for someone with two years experience in a medical claims, account payable, account receivable or a bookkeeping processing position that required performance of reviewing, researching, coding and entry of medical claims or invoices, and use of computerized accounting/database systems. Medical Terminology/CPT is preferred.
Location: Minneapolis
Compensation: 16.50-17.00
