WESTWAY GROUP, INC is a growing Groups of companies, looking for the right person to handle the Accounting and assist with some Purchasing duties. Applicant must be self-starter with a highly organized individual who is reliable, professional, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
*General QuickBooks Accounting duties, including building new customers, creating invoices, receiving payments, process credit card payments, generate monthly financial reports and statements, handle accounts receivable and collections, handle banking functions, reconcile bank and credit card statements, enter vendor bills, pay bills, enter timesheets for designers, post payroll, package paycheck for shipments via Fedex/UPS, produce job costing reports, calculate sales tax liability, Corresponding and coordinating reciprocal payments to all international agents .
*Purchasing - learn to create sales orders and estimates, obtain vendor quotes, issue purchase orders, expedite vendor shipments, schedule deliveries/installation of projects.
*Generate sales and marketing correspondence as needed to new and existing customers.
Skills Required:
*Expert in using QuickBooks Contractor edition
*Excel expert - ability to create spreadsheets and generate reports
*Detail and results oriented, organized, ability to multi-task, team player
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Professional and tech savvy
