Young, energetic, high-growth interactive ad agency seeking a hardworking, motivated, and detail oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant. Candidate must have at least 2-4 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience with QuickBooks Pro and exhibit strong organizational capabilities. Responsibilities of this full-time position include:
-- Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable
-- Knowledge of accounting reports (P&L Statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balances)
-- Process journal entries and month-end close entries.
-- Creation and distribution of invoices to clients
-- Pursue overdue payments from clients
-- Handle accounts payable inquiries from vendors
-- Resolve Billing Discrepancies
-- Manage employee payroll, benefits and other company insurance policies
-- Office management tasks and responsibilities
Additional skill requirements and qualifications include:
Understanding of and experience in advertising industry a plus
Technological proficiency a plus
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Organized and detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal communication
Ability to multi-task and learn new systems quickly
