Full Charge Bookkeeper & Jr. Bookkeeper (Bilingual English & Chinese In new york

Well-established company is seeking an experienced full charge bookkeeper to handle all aspects of bookkeeping functions (A/P, A/R, general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, billing, check runs, etc.) for multiple businesses. The successful candidate will be working in a friendly office in lower Manhattan.

Requirements:

at least one year experience as a full charge bookkeeper; preferably with a background in accounting, but not necessary;
excellent organizational and communication skills;
attention to details;
ability to work independently with little supervision;
ability to efficiently multi-task and to manage different projects with competing deadlines;
ability to maintain confidentiality of business information;
proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Word and Excel;
fluency in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
