I have a large collection of cards of the first few sets of cards from Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, in both cases I have complete (or near complete) collections of the individual series as well as starter decks and promo cards. Many of the cards have never been used after being removed from the booster packs. I was a collector of the two series, for Pokemon from 1999 to 2001 or 2002 and for Yu-Gi-Oh from 2002 or 2003 to 2004 or 2005. I would buy each new addition to the card games by the booster box (sometimes one box, sometimes two, and in the case of YGO Id buy the larger boxes for a higher chance of secret rares). The cards are in great shape from what I can tell (save for the ones in YGO that I made a deck out of and had stored using a rubber band, but that wear is not even that bad). Considering the time in which I have had nothing to do with the cards I have no use for them aside from sentimentalities, but most of them were of little use to me anyway. I am selling the cards for that reason and the fact that I need money for things I need now. Some I may hold off on for a friend who is interested but cannot buy them right now. I have a website for the YGO price guide that I will use, however I cannot find a good one for the older Pokemon series, and the ones I do find havent been updated in nearly a decade. I will, however, attempt to use my good judgement in pricing the cards for the buyer(s), and if anyone has an up-to-date price guide that they own and are willing to bring for the transaction, please do. I must also note that I am willing to work with the buyer on prices. I really need the money, so I am trying Craigs List and will also use eBay in the near future to sell these cards. One last thing, I will only accept cash, except in extenuating circumstances.
