1911 Indain head $5 gold coin

I have a Indain head gold $5 coin from 1911..It was in circulation I am sure and it is mounted into a 14K rope chain thing that makes it into a "charm" or "pendant" to put on a necklace..The setting that the coin is in was made where the coin can be easily removed without damaging the coin..I checkd the value of the coin by itself and it ranges from $500 -$2000... I am starting the asking price at $1,000 obo because of the history knowing this $5 coin could have passed through the hands of many historical figures or been used in big hostorical events or pay-offs,who knows ..I will also accept trades..
