Hi,

Im Andrew Rogers and Im a freshman here at University of Washington. Fulfilling the college stereotype of cheap ramen and pop tarts has long since lost its appeal, yet I cant afford the wonderful world of delivery pizza...that is until now! Since I was 12, Ive had a passion for computers. After receiving my first computer as a Christmas present, I immediately started to teach myself various programming languages, all in the hopes to one day write my own computer game. My background in programming and web design has since led to my direct admission into the Computer Science department at the UW as a freshman. What better way to make money than by doing something you love, so Ive decided to offer my services to the community by teaching an Introductory Course in Java Programming!

Using the same effective methods taught to me, Im confident you will begin to immediately pick up the ins and outs of the Java programming language and build a thorough understanding of how to "think" like a programmer. Through interactive one on one sessions, based around a schedule you create, you will be creating your first Java programs within the first week.

I recommend this course to curious, eager to learn individuals ages 12-112.
I charge $30 per hour session, and am available throughout the week and weekend.
