IQ is a trait. Its like eye color. It doesnt predict success, except that smart people have more to work with. It also means they have more to screw up. It isnt fair to say high IQ people are "always" jobless, but Ive seen it too. My oldest brother has had several really good, secure jobs pretty much handed to him, jobs people would kill for nowadays, and managed to get fired from every one.
