FOR SALE is a 2004 model year Trek 2300 road bike size 60cm. This bike is in excellent condition, contains all original manufacturer parts and has been serviced annually by a qualified bike technician. It is setup and has been used as a triathlon bike making it the perfect entry to mid level choice for triathlon enthusiasts. The 60cm size generally fits heights of 6 0" and above...I am 6 2".
The bike is crafted of a mixture of Treks ZR 9000 Alloy (light and stiff) and OCLV Carbon (vibration absorbing). It contains Bontrager Race Lite fork and wheels with aero spokes, Bontrager Race X Lite 700x23c tires, Shimano Ultegra components throughout, and a San Marco saddle. The result is a frame that provides for a plush ride for long distances and a quick response on the final lap. It is light, aerodynamic, hot looking (Trek calls it "Starry Night Black / Trek Red"), and ready to race fast.

The bike is equipped with Performance Bikes Forte T1 aero bars for use as a triathlon bike. The aero bars are fully adjustable fore, aft, left and right. They are wrapped in comfy, water resistant bike bar tape.

This is a must see bike and would make a perfect gift (even for yourself) for the budding triathlete or road racer. I have used this bike for 5 years of entry level triathlon racing and it has performed wonderfully. It has never been crashed or ridden on rough, gravel roads. When not in use during the winter months, it has been stored properly indoors. In short, I need a fast bike...so I take care it.
