This bike itself goes for $60 at walmart (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.doproduct_id=8399256) but I modified it a bit for a much better ride. These installations were done at a professional bike shop. New Flat Tread Tires ($36), New Tubes ($20) New Seat ($30), New Metal Pedals ($20), New Rear Brakes ($15), New Air Pump still in package ($12) and i got a Wheel True ($30) on both tires to properly align the wheels.
Heres the story- one day i got a flat. i took it to the bike shop to get it fixed. i ended up fixing it and then some (almost $170 but it was worth it). heres the thing, it has a flat again. the tubes are new- the flat is just a coincidence- but i just dont feel like dealing with it!!!! i dont feel like riding it in the cold anyways- i just use public transit now.
