Job Title: Field Services Technician
Pay Type: Salary ($29K - $34K)
Education Requirements:
Degree in a science related field or 2 years experience
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Acrobat
Pre-Hire Conditions:
Clean MVR
Reliable Transportation
Credit card (MC, Visa) with at least $2000 credit limit to cover travel expenses until end of probationary period (90 days)
Computer with home internet access
Post Hire Conditions:
Maintain Clean MVR
Obtain Class A Farm CDL (for towing trailers)
Successfully complete/pass OSHA 40 hr training
Physical Requirements:
Ability to traverse a 3:1 grade
Ability to lift 75 lbs waist high
Ability to utilize all types of sampling equipment
Travel Requirements:
Most Jobs are not overnight, however some require 1 night out of town with some as much as 3 nights
Overnight Travel Percentage: 65%
Supervisory Level: Minimal
Reports to: Project Manager
Primary Duties:
Collection of samples from various matrices (groundwater, soil, etc.)
Geoprobe Operation
Preparation of field reports
Equipment Maintenance
