Full- or substantial part-time position in a newly built histology lab doing dermatopathology processing for board certified dermatopathologist in private practice. You will be responsible for the setup, organization, and operation of our new laboratory. It is located in our office in Newnan, on the Southside of metro Atlanta.
Job to include preparation of laboratory specimens for microscopic evaluation by the pathologist through the use of microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry and other appropriate techniques. Technologist will be fully responsible for the day to day operation of the laboratory. Future options may include supervisory responsibilities.
HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) or eligible to take exam or equivalent science education for qualification to gross dermatology specimens (CLIA high complexity testing).
