In Vivo Research Associate
We are seeking an outstanding, highly-motivated Research Associate with a strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or pharmacology and working experience with in vivo models. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of scientists and associates to discover, validate and generate novel therapeutics against molecular targets in oncology using proprietary platforms. An understanding of genetic principles and experience with in vivo models are preferred. Prior experience with subcutaneous or orthotopic tumor models, as well as drug administration by various routes is a plus.
Animal/Husbandry Technician
Responsibilities include:
Rodent husbandry duties (providing food, water and clean caging to mice).
Receipt of animals
Clean cage processing including unloading caging from sterilizer assembling cages and setting up racks with correct number of cages
Sanitation of environmental surfaces such as washing walls and floors
Supply inventory and stocking supply areas
Room and animal health observations
Must have good communication skills and must be a team player
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
