Immediate opening for a Post-Doctoral Fellow at NESCA (Neuropsychology & Education Services for Children & Adolescents), a multi-disciplinary group practice in Newton, MA providing services to children with a broad range of neurological, developmental, learning, and emotional disorders (www.nesca-newton.com). NESCA offers an apprenticeship-model training program in which the post-doctoral fellow works in tandem with an experienced clinician throughout all aspects of the evaluation process. The fellow observes the intake session, assists the clinician in testing the child, joins the clinician in the feedback and drafts the report with the supervisor. Our approach facilitates both modeling and direct teaching of clinical skills and professional comportment. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical or developmental psychology and be license-eligible in MA. Experience in neuropsychological assessment of children/adolescents is also required.
