Responsibilities:
Assisting in the discovery and development of novel biologics that modulate the complement system. Working closely with the scientific directors, the qualified individual will be responsible for developing and performing key biological assays, including but not limited to immunoassays, flow cytometry, cell and protein -based assays. Some molecular biology, protein characterization and light protein purification.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Candidates mus have a BS/MS (no Ph.D.s) in Biology with 1-2 years of laboratory research experience in a biotech/academic setting. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities. Familiarity with scientific software and standard office software is desired. The ability to execute experiments independently, but also to collaborate in a team setting. The ability to summarize data for presentation and strong communication skills. Immunology and tissue culture experience is strongly desired. Background in Biological Sciences, Cell Biology and Immunology is strongly preferred.
