For the first few months you will be working with the General Manager and Owner in researching and establishing our product lines. After the store opens you will be meeting the public in our mini-warehouse and showroom setting to explain to them the differences in our product lines and their paybacks. You may be designated a Brand Manager, in which case you will be expected to have in depth knowledge of that particular product and its competition. If there is an exciting product that you care to advocate for, you can present your case to the General Manager and Owner for review.
After the store is running you will be talking to the public about all our Green products. If you are an excellent speaker, you can qualify to speak in front of an audience of our customers, on stage and amplified, on your particular area of expertise.
Qualifications:
A strong Green Building and Science background.
The ability to quickly and clearly communicate product advantages and liabilities to the general public.
The ability to research up and coming technologies and then create a Power Point or Web based presentation (including video) to demonstrate those advantages.
All Graphic, Display, Video, and Website experience is a huge plus.
Pay:
$12 to $15 an hour depending on experience. Once store is running ( 2 months expected opening) you may be qualified for additional sales commissions on top of your hourly rate. Medical, Vacation, Bonus and other benefits may accrue depending on whether you are full or part time. As other locations open, you will be considered as a candidate for Store Manager.
Location: Central Honolulu Ward area
Compensation: $12 to $16 hour base with possible bonus and commissions added to that.
