Are you proficient in a foreign language Would you like to have full time
benefits by just doing part time work for knowing another language In the
Hawaii National Guard, skilled Linguists are people who are already
proficient in a foreign language and enlist for HAWAII Military Intelligence. The
nations defense depends on information from foreign language newspapers,
magazines, radio broadcasts and other sources. Therefore, its very
important that some members of the Hawaii National Guard be able to read and
understand the many languages of the world. Since you do not require
language training, you enlist at the rank of Specialist (E-4) and may also
receive an enlistment bonus. You must be a U.S. Citizen, have normal color
vision (at least red/green color distinction), and be eligible for a
security clearance. You would only do this job for one weekend a month......
