Our Client in New York, NY is looking for a Immunohistochemistry Technologist to join their group for a 3+ month contract position. Generally this position runs from Tuesday through Saturday and has shift hours of either 11:00pm to 5:30am or 6:00am-2:30pm.
The duties for this role include antibody preparation, titration and inventory management. Routine IHC staining using manual and automated procedures. Scanning and QC of slides, record keeping, QC of data, specimens and reagents.
The manager is looking for someone with knowledge of IHC staining on auto and manual systems, microscopy, general lab experience, basic knowledge of Microsoft software and a strong work ethic.
The requirements for this role are a BA/BS and candidates must have a Technologist or Technicians license and be licensed in the state of New York.
