Surgical Technician II

Department: Surgery
Salary: DOE
Hours: Part-time (0.9 FTE), days/evenings. Call - weekday and holidays. Required weekend and call rotations.
Location: Hospital Main Campus

Technicians who specialize in the operating room, assisting the surgeons as "scrub techs." Their duties may also include functioning as a UST and in the OR core.

Required:
Current Washington state registration as a surgical technician. Minimum one year of current operating room tech experience. BLS for Healthcare Providers. Acceptable certifications include any one of the following: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider, American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Professional Level, or American AED/CPR Association (American ACA) Professional Level.

Preferred:
Completion of operating room surgical technologist or military surgical technologist course.
