REQUIREMENTS
We have an immediate opening for a skilled biochemist or histochmist to join our product development team. The key functions of this position are to design and develop immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays and have strong trouble shooting ability. This includes reagent sourcing and qualification, and coordination of development efforts from prototype to commercial product.
Experienced candidate must :
* have a PhD in biochemistry with minimum 4-6 years IHC assay development and multiplexing; or
* have a BS/MS degree in biochemistry with 10+ years of IHC industry experience in assay development;
* be experienced working in a project-milestone framework;
* be a self starter able to work independently on multiple projects in parallel;
* have experience converting assays from the bench to commercial production;
* be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with an inter-disciplinary team, customers and others;
Experience in diagnostic assay development a plus;
Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, standard operating procedure (SOP) and good laboratory practices (GLP) procedures desirable
