EHS-International Inc. (EHSI), a full-service environmental engineering and industrial hygiene consulting firm, which currently has opportunities for individuals to be part of a growing company that provides services to clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. EHSI has position for AHERA Certified Inspector & Designer, Industrial Hygienist and Environmental Consultant involving duties and responsibilities as follows:
Project Designer/Environmental Consultant
Perform field and consulting functions, EPA/AHERA building inspections and abatement designs. Development of hazardous materials removal drawings and written project specifications. Submittal review, supervision of abatement contractors, collect air samples, conduct indoor air quality investigations, prepare reports, hazardous material removal drawings and specifications in accordance with job instructions for assigned projects and in accordance with Employers project management procedures. Supervise and coordinate the assignments of technical personnel as necessary to accomplish the timely completion of assigned projects. Provide supervision and training of technical staff in the preparation of field reports and documentation in accordance with Employer Standard Operating Procedures and project requirements. The successful candidate(s) will have 5+ years of experience in conducting AHERA Surveys, abatement design. Previous experience in supervision and development of staff is also preferred. Ability to provide asbestos, lead and other health/safety training is a plus. BS in a related field is mandatory. Higher degrees and / or certifications, CIH, CSP or P.E. & R.G. is preferred.
Candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office software and possess excellent written and oral skills. AutoCADD LT a plus but not required. Please list current certifications on resume.
