Kleen Environmental Technologies, Inc., a leading environmental consulting firm in the Puget Sound, is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist.
Job Summary:
Performs all aspects of hazardous waste management including: characterization, documentation, handling, packaging, and transportation of hazardous waste. Duties require that the candidate possess the ability to interpret and implement site processes and procedures and EPA and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Candidate must also posses the ability to work independently, using judgment and discretion in managing projects . May work in Level A, B, or C personal protective equipment. May lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental science related field or equivalent work experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with computers and general computer applications.
Ability to provide on-site services focused on customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest degree of workplace safety.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Pre-Employment Physical (Including DOT Drug Screen).
Preferred Credentials:
CDL with hazmat endorsement
