Halo-Bio RNAi Therapeutics Inc, an emerging biotech company based in Seattle, is engaged in developing new therapeutics using novel proprietary RNAi molecules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated postdoctoral candidate to explore the mechanisms of RNA interference in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. The candidate will participate in design optimization, in vitro target validation and development of molecules for in vivo use. Candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline, along with related research experience
Strong background in RNA structural biology
Experience in RNAi preferred
Experience with cell biology techniques is also highly desirable.
Must possess the ability to conceive of, and execute new ideas
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
