Antimicrobial Test Laboratories is a growing, microbiology testing laboratory founded in 2006, located in Round Rock, Texas. Antimicrobial Test Laboratories specializes in the testing of antimicrobial consumer products such as disinfectants and antimicrobial fabrics. Antimicrobial Test Laboratories is a small, locally family-owned company; when this position is filled there will be a total of five people working for the company.
Hours:
10 30 hours per week, depending on demand of the laboratory. Hours will be worked during the normal operating hours of the laboratory, which are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or higher.
Interest in Science.
Good math abilities.
Attention to detail.
Motivation to be a self-starter and work efficiently.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to take direction from multiple people and think ahead.
Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others in a fast-paced, small-company environment.
Major Duties:
Prepare microbiological media and supplies.
Maintain Logs corresponding to prepared media and supplies.
Wash laboratory glassware and plasticware used in studies.
General assistance with studies and laboratory operations.
Maintain a safe, fast-paced, and positive laboratory environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
$7.25 to $10.00 per Hour
No paid time off.
