Job Description
Installs and maintain Drew Scientific HEMATOLOGY, Chemistry and A1c instrumentation and systems in a laboratory environment. The incumbent handles and/or participates on a team that resolves customers problems and issues.
Essential Behaviors and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
May develop and track field service project plans.
Adheres to field service technical standards. Monitors field service policies, procedures and standards; recommends changes and adheres to policies and procedures.
Ability to interface effectively with customers necessary.
Occasionally requires extended workweek and weekend beeper duty to service instruments. Requires extended travel on short notice.
Requires the ability to lift instruments up to 50 lbs
Qualifications and Experience
Associate’s degree with laboratory experience, Med Tech with Hematology or very strong electronics medical background preferred.
0-5 years field years experience desired.
must have valid drivers license
