What is it with Halloween and New Years. The one night of the year people can be anyone but themselves and therefore act like complete A Holes in public. All because of a mask, a disguise or a bunch of make up can we scream for drinks at our bartenders, spill drinks on everyone around us and fall over people in a drunken stupor without apologizing for any of it. It is also the night when guys who are secret "pervs" can cop a feel off any womans breasts and pinch as much ass as they can without any repercussions all because they can not be identified while they hide like dirty old men behind a mask.
But for most it is the night you can make yourself up to be someone you arent in public for one night out of the ayear. Guys can draw on a penciled dark mustach and eyebrows. Women can cover up that ugly big nose, wrinkles and double chin in hopes of making themselves to be more attractive than the features they were born with. Features they have always hated about themselves. From guys as rugged cowboys and firemen to women as The St Paulie Girl or virgin innocence like a Nun or Snow White it is all fantasy. The problem with it from my experience is that it only magnifies the standard practice of "drinking a person pretty" to sleep with them. A good thing til the person emerges from your bathroom in the morning without the costume and make up on and you find out what they really look like. Sometimes good but most times VERY bad! Almost scarey! ( No pun intended..) It is at that point they ask if you still find them attractive without the costume on and you have to share that awkward moment of trying to find an exscuse of all these things you need to do so early on Sunday morning without them. In the end when you drop them back at their car and tell them youll call them later (even though you never will) you now have a new exscuse to tell your friends as to why you had to "put the beer goggles on again" to sleep with this ugly person.
But not on Halloween! No sir ree! Now you can just say you had a fantasy of what it would be like to sleep with a UPS guy for her or a Lady Ga Ga for him..Either way it definitely wont be for what that person normally looks like without make up ..Hell No!
Good luck out there this weekend. The line should be long at the hospitals for stitching back on all the arms that had to be chewed off this weekend!..
