Saw is approximately 6 years old and is in excellent condition. Used indoors only by original owner and me. Has not been used for production work. Includes Dewalt stand that is much sturdier than the current model which shown, platen, hold down clamps, fixed length adjustable clamps, extension system with intermediate and long material supports, and recently sharpened (Circle Saw) 12" carbide tipped blade. Posted Jan 13, 2006 - I have used the DW708 for about 4 1/2 years now and have owned most all of the different brands out there in my career. I have made many thousands of cuts with my DW708 and it has zero wear. I have checked out the newer saws and I am displeased with the majority including the new Dewalt compound slide I think it is a DW718. You cannot beat the DW708 no matter how hard you try. I have done woodworking for 37 years now and am a tool nut from the word go. The new DW718 is build cheaper and nowhere as well as the DW708, the newer Dewalt saws are made in China also.
