Beautiful open views of Lady Bird Lake, from 2 private balconies, make this one of the most spectacular views and one of the most desirable locations in Austin. 2nd floor, directly overlooking the water, looking across the lake to a park (Fiesta Gardens). All you see is grass, water, trees, and lots of wildlife (turtles, ducks, cormorants, cranes, blue heron, geese, and occasionally a fish will do a backflip for you). It is like living on Lake Buchanan, 30 miles out in the country, yet all of this is just 5 minutes from downtown Austin, a couple more minutes to UT, or 5 minutes from all the fun on South Congress and South Lamar! Very convenient for the airport, also (15 minutes).
Space is 770 square feet according to the leasing office. Nice layout with small but sufficient kitchen, small bedroom (queen bed) and spacious living room. Both the bedroom and living room have spectacular lake views.
I can leave modern bed, 2 nightstands and antique dresser, comfortable sofa and armchair, low-level bookcases (or media storage). Or I can empty it to storage if you want unfurnished and take it for the full term. I will keep one small closet, locked with my stuff. You will have the big closet in the bedroom.
Apartment is available Thanksgiving (maybe a week earlier) until end April or 24 April. Extension is possible after that. Prefer to sub-lease for full 5 months, but will consider shorter terms, furnished only, for $50 per month higher rent.
You will need to provide excellent references, have good credit, and go through the background check with the leasing office.
