American Corporate Partners, www.acp-usa.org, is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting returning veterans transition from the armed services to the corporate environment. ACP offers present and past service members a unique mentoring and networking opportunity with employees from leading corporations nationwide, including Campbell Soup, General Electric, Home Depot, IBM, Morgan Stanley, News Corporation, PepsiCo, and Verizon.
ACP is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and hard-working individual who has an appreciation for ACPs mission. The position involves monitoring mentoring relationships and addressing issues, as well as providing research, writing and programmatic development support to staff. The candidate should have outstanding interpersonal skills and be well versed with MS Office Suite. He/she must be open to evolving responsibilities as our organization grows and be able to provide assistance on special projects as assigned.
A strong record of academic achievement is required. Successful candidates will have had a college GPA of 3.5 or higher. A college degree is required. Recent veterans are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: $50,000 annually plus health care. Estimated start date: January 2010. Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York City
