Freelance Designer Needed/Solidworks

We are looking for a talented mechanical engineer with a strong design sensibility. The work will be needed on a freelance basis- but we are hoping to develop a relationship with candidates over time. The estimated budget is not relevant at this point since we expect the work to be on an ongoing basis. However, we would like to know your asking hourly rate.

Please apply if you have the following set of skills:

1- Highly advanced surfacing experience in Solidworks 2008: ability to create complex surfaces, stitching them into solids, and able to make changes to the surfaces/features with a very high degree of control. Understanding and keeping overall design intent from different angles is an important part of the skill set required.

2. Mechanical engineering background, knowledge of molding processes, metal solidworks package, some basic rendering and animation in solidworks.

3. Fluent in spoken and written english a must: communication will be via phone, email, online vault, skype

4. Intellectual property protection is a top priority. Non disclosure agreements will be required.
