Independent E&P is looking for a seasoned Reservoir Engineer with a strong technical background in Reservoir Simulation, Modeling, Well Testing, etc. Candidate will provide a high level of technical expertise to various asset teams and reservoir groups for solutions to engineering matters. Further responsibilities will include the following:
Lead teams of engineers and geoscientists on various assigned and special projects
Conduct in-depth reservoir studies that are fully integrated into the asset teams that are supported by multi disciplinary teams (geosciences, drilling and completions, production, etc.)
Identify, evaluate, recommend and implement plans to develop opportunities that enhance the value of the Company.
Monitor Oil & Gas production on a continual basis with special emphasis on identification of value-enhancing opportunities, and increasing reserves.
Provide guidance and mentorship to other Engineers, and is a Company resource for specialized reservoir engineering expertise.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering prefer Petroleum
8+ yrs of recent advanced technical reservoir engineering experience
Strong background in reservoir simulation, modeling, well testing, field characterization and development
Must have experience in multiple geographic areas in the US and International
Previous technical supervision experience is a plus
Previous company representation experience in meetings, and negotiations with partner companies, JV, and government agency is required
Prefer Major or Large Independent O&G company experience
