FIRE SPRINKLER CAD DESIGNER
Leading Fire Protection contractor seeking an experienced Design Engineer.
Design Engineer will provide consultation and design for all types of fire sprinkler design projects. Utilizing knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, Design Engineer will coordinate with general contractor/customer, architects, engineers, city and county building departments, etc. to design an appropriate application for building. Using AutoCAD and AutoSprink, Design Engineer will draft the system to create plans and submittals required to obtain permits and system installation.

Qualifications & Requirements
Extensive AutoCAD experience
3-5+ years experience in a designer position with a construction background
Must be able to layout fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 13
Fire Sprinkler Experience Highly Desired
Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel is a plus
Maintenance of CAD file structure and archiving of hard copies
Strong work ethic and emphasis on production
Knowledge of hydraulic calculations
Reliable transportation
