Bridge Section Manager, Structures

Position Description:
Our client Consulting is seeking a Bridge Section Manager to lead and manage the bridge design group. The company has an impressive backlog of large scale projects bridge projects associated with Caltrans freeway, highway, local roadway and rail improvement projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, California PE, SE
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
- California bridge design experience and managerial / supervision experience
- A strong bridge design background is essential

Duties:
The position will be responsible for the direction and supervision of the Bridge Design Section, including: Client contact for multiple projects; Staff schedules and assignments; bridge related marketing and business development; supervision, hiring, development and evaluation of bridge staff; and implementation and monitoring of Quality Assurance.
