National Proposal Manager - Environmental Services / Carbon Management

Sequence is seeking a National Proposal Manager for a newly developed environmental and carbon practice group to lead one of industries leading technical solutions firms.
The ideal individual would have at least 5+ years experience in producing high quality, competitive marketing materials and proposals directed at the engineering and environmental communities. This will include developing a substantial market driven communications campaign for diverse market segments, composing marketing messages, corporate themes, client technical proposals, and additional collateral materials. An extremely strong technical writer, abilities to multi-task and meet competitive deadlines in a fast paced environment are essential.
This person should be experienced in environmental marketing and communications to lead all activities related to corporate marketing, branding and proposal development. Additionally, an expanded box thinker is desired who can be tasked with contributing to and developing new service and business plan activities.
The organizations environmental and carbon practice currently has 20 of the industries most respected expert level technical professionals that are now actively marketing and proposing on project here in United States marketplace. The company overall is some 5000 plus employees in size and can draw on numerous technical professionals to assist with technical writing, marketing and proposal development efforts. So a person holding this post could actively draw on probably more resources that ever imagined in their role.
With that in mind though, what is key here is the need for a very dynamic expert to manage and lead the way personally in active proposal development and marketing activities. Also, a person that can be charged with coordinating deal team efforts with some of the nation’s largest clients and executive level personnel.
Position requires a degree in Business Administration, Environment Science or related discipline. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, as well as, the desire to lead a national marketing group in effectively communicating to rapidly growing market segments.
Must have Microsoft Office, Project, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience. Candidates with strong understanding and proven experience with proposal development and response process will be given priority consideration.
