Tessera Solar North America, headquartered in Houston, Texas and Tessera Solar International, based in London, United Kingdom, are exclusively responsible for the global deployment of the SunCatcher solar dish Stirling system, the solar electricity generation technology that is manufactured by our sister company SES Inc., headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Tessera Solar is responsible for utility-scale solar projects and their complete development lifecycle that spans technology sourcing to world scale deployment. Tessera Solar is developing, and will build, operate and own large-scale solar power plants across the United States and throughout the world.
As our seasoned Plant Manager for our Maricopa Plant based out of Peoria, AZ you will wear multiple hats managing the operations, maintenance and commercial operations for our renewable power generation facility. Your formal education in engineering and hands-on equipment experience with generators and engines are essential to your success as you direct the day to day operations and maintenance efforts of a lean crew to mitigate mechanical and electrical failures, conduct preventative maintenance, and optimize equipment performance. Extensive experience in the management of distributed power generating assets will make you a perfect match as Maricopa Solar will be run as a fully operational power plant and the emphasis will be on ensuring availability, reliability and cost performance expectations are met or exceeded. Superior communication skills are critical to success as you manage various relationships in the local community and optimize the facility to meet customer demands. Your honed financial management skills will be put to the test as you manage the financial and business aspects of this power facility and successfully plan and develop the plant budget.
