Host in house events
Interface in a professional and friendly manner with visitors, guests, residents and employees.
Responsible for the Tuesday evening programs conducted by Resident Services. This includes interacting with resident sponsors, outside presenters or entertainers, or residents acting as presenters.
Responsible for the set-up of Main Line School night (Wednesday afternoons and evenings). Function as the liaison or point person for Beaumont. Interact with the resident representative.
Beaumont employees are at all times responsible for maintaining professional conduct and providing services representative of a superior quality life care community.
Assists with the driving duties when necessary. This means providing safe and efficient transportation to the residents and employees of Beaumont.
Act as a relief receptionist when necessary. Answering telephones promptly and professionally , transferring calls, taking accurate messages, and relaying messages to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Provide residents and guests with faxing and copying services.
Responsible for resident emergency alarm and fire alarm system procedures for residents, guests and employees. Run and check the Resident Care Call System including Away forms, adding new residents, maintenance of the Care Call Computer and meet with new residents to explain how to use the Care Call System.
Assist guests and answer inquiries regarding guest suites.
Distribute employment applications. .
Accept and record UPS, Federal Express and other package deliveries for residents and staff.
Direct residents and guests to appropriate departments.
Publication of weekly newsletter (Weekly Reminders)
Notices and signs for upcoming events. Table tents in Dining areas for Tuesday Evening Entertainment.
Assist and run all activities in the Ballam Theatre.
Assist Residents with computer problems on both Library computers and personal home computers.
Assist Resident Services Tour Coordinator with monthly teas, coffees and ice cream socials. In addition assists director with special evening functions and in-house TV system.
Maintain the supply of necessary forms; i.e. Resident Phone Directories, Resident Away Forms, Access Forms, Employee Applications, Stamps by Mail, Change of Address Forms, Postage Request Forms, etc., at the front desk.
Interface in a professional and friendly manner with visitors, guests, residents and employees.
Sort the incoming mail and distribute in the appropriate mailboxes.
Direct all calls/appointments for the President to the Executive Secretary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsible for some Resident Services Directors duties when the director is away.
Location: Bryn Mawr, PA
Compensation: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
