This is a beautiful 100% cashmere overcoat. It was made in the 1971. That was the tail end of when you could get excellent quality. It is a nice taupe brownish color. It has peak lapels and is double breasted. It is asian cashmere and calle pakasha Cashmere. It is made by Eagle Clothes, a traditional mens clothiers company. It was sold by jack robins mens shop of Chicago, or so says the tag.
The inside lining is in great shape. It is some type of satin of nice quality.
the collars, pockets and cuffs all have hand stitching around them which is a subtle mark of style and quality. The pockets have flap covers and the cuffs have asimple single button.
The size is 44-46, but probably a short. If you are 6"6 it might be a bit short. It measures about 26 inches across so if you subtract about three inches, that gives you the size of 46. If you plan to wear a suit under it or a jacket of some kind, it wil fit you at a 44. If you are going to wear it over a sweater or shirt only, it can easily fit a size 46. You are welcome to try it on.
This kind of quality would cost a thousand dollars or more these days. The cut and quality is really outstanding and noticable.
It would look great in the office over a suit, but also over nice jeans and a white dress shirt or sweater or whatever. The style is classic, without looking dated or old fashioned. It will look like you are wearing a very expensive designer coat. And cashmere is really light weight, but very warm. And it is very visually noticable as high quality.
I have seen it said in a magazine that if you find a cashmere overcoat under $100, buy it. Well, here is your chance to have one for even less than that.
You can see it in North Seattle or maybe I could come to you over the weekend or some afternoon.
