Job Requirements
A small, local company is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to start December 1, 2009. This position requires strong computer and internet research skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will also be a competent speller and have a sound understanding of grammar. We are looking for someone with a passion for organization, detail and planning. We are a tight knit office with an upbeat, fun and friendly culture and are seeking someone like-minded.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily media monitoring for each client
Answer the telephone and direct to the appropriate staff member, screen calls as necessary
Meet and greet clients and other visitors
Run office errands
Perform general clerical duties that include, but are not limited to: copying, faxing, mailing, and filing
Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, company credit cards, and office keys
Schedule meetings and appointments as needed
Coordinate office support (such as IT) and maintenance appointments as needed
Support staff in assigned project-based work
Coordinate, order and pick up catered meals as necessary for staff and clients
Other Requirements
Must have reliable transportation of one’s own, a valid driver’s license and proof of current car insurance.
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: $12/hr., no benefits
