We have an immediate opening for the right person in our fast-paced and fun educational technology company located in Oak Hill (SW Austin). We are a family run business and currently have dedicated offices in our home. Requirements: Abilities
Must be reliable and punctual. Daily work attendance is imperative.
Ability to prioritize and make independent judgments
Excellent organizational skills and the flexibility to seamlessly switch tasks when need arises.
Ability to address and resolve problems quickly and thoughtfully.
Ability to take ownership for mistakes, learn from them and move forward.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Handwriting sample will be required.
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision; taking initiative but also possessing the ability to ask questions or request assistance when instructions are not clear.
Ability to work as a team-player and contribute insight, ideas, and solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate own point of view and listen to understand others point of view.
Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times when interacting with customers and vendors or representing our company.
Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to quality customer service.
Requirements: Experience
QuickBooks Pro
PC Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
Knowledge of or capability to learn about educational technology and/or audio-video.
Areas of Responsibility: Duties
Customer Service: As first point of contact, candidate must be able to represent company professionally, strong ability to interact with people and maintain relationships.
Sales Support: order processing, purchasing, invoicing, quoting, managing accounts, etc...
Marketing Support: coordinate and assist with meetings, conferences, and tradeshows; prepare presentations, proposals, marketing materials, etc
Accounting Support: AP/AR, taxes, reconciling accounts
Background check and drug screening.
Compensation:
During 90-day probationary period, compensation will be hourly.
Following successful completion of 90-day probationary period, position will become salaried and eligible for benefits.
Hours: Monday Friday Daily hours are flexible but must be established in advance.
During 90-day probationary period: 30-40 hrs/wk.
Following successful completion of 90-day probationary period: 40 hrs/wk.
