JOB SUMMARY:
Serve as liaison between State National Companies and Account located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsible for maintaining a Collateral Protection Insurance monitoring system based on the needs of State National Companies and Account(s). Provide excellent customer service and support to Account(s) while building and maintaining client trust. Identify, address and resolve issues in all service areas including but not limited to Claims and Collections.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments at short notice
2. Take direction, prioritize and recognize tasks with minimal supervision
3. Type and perform other general office functions
4. Receive detailed information through oral and/or written communication and make sound determinations in keeping with overall Company business goals
5. Communicate effectively with clients, borrowers, agents and/or insurance companies as needed
6. Review past due premiums with Account and Collect as needed
7. Interpret and key detailed information quickly and accurately
8. Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, both internal and external
9. Adhere to Company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software applications
General knowledge of the insurance and/or banking industry preferred
Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3 to 5 years of general office experience required
WORK CONDITIONS:
This position requires sitting at desk for extended periods of time
Other:
Access to confidential information, both internal and external.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to travel to Fort Worth, Texas for two weeks of initial training
Skills/Abilities:
Minimum 8,000 ksph data entry skills
Good attention to detail
Good customer service skills
Good decision making and problem solving skills
Ability to build relationships with clients and internal staff
Ability to work alone without supervision
