An exceptional opportunity exists at our Buffalo Office for Professional HVAC Design Engineers. Background and demonstrated experience in the HVAC Design of Commercial and Institutional Facilities, Commercial Office Buildings, Educational Facilities (pre K-12, higher education), Governmental Buildings (municipal, court house, police station, recreation, low income housing, garage, correctional/jail), Health Care (hospital, nursing home, ambulatory services, health care related testing/laboratories), and similar facilities required.
Minimum educational background includes BS in Mechanical Engineering and NYS-PE or ability to obtain PE required. HVAC Load Calculations; Cost Estimating; Writing Specs.; and Plumbing Design experience required. Must have experience in Building Energy System Calculation using DOE Programs as well as others (Roof Top Units, Boiler Design, VAV Design, Chiller Design, Hydraulic System, HVAC Duct Sizing, System Optimization, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D required. Previous experience as a Project Manager and great Technical hands on experience a must. Attention to detail while understanding the commercial nature of the business (fast paced/competent). Marketing/sales experience and ability to interact with client required. Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
