We are looking for somone with project-based purchasing savvy to assist seniors with their individual needs. This is a very customer service orientated position that requires professionalism, dedication and an ability to see projects from start to finish. Our ideal candidate must be flexible and accomodating to clients needs at all times. However, it will be necessary to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors and ensure quality control and contract fulfillment at all times. Some general job duties include:
*Obtaining project purchase approval
*Bidding project and researching contractor reliability (including credentials, bond verification, licenses, etc)
*Awarding project and performing contract negotiations and approvals
*Ordering project supplies and equipment per project purchase approval
Essential Requirements:
*2 years experience ordering supplies
*Knowledge and ability to read and interpret service contracts
*Friendly phone presence
*Ability to read, speak and write in English using complex terminology
*Medical equipment and supply knowledge is HIGHLY desired and EXTREMELY preferred.
*A HS diploma/GED is required
