Founded in 1907, we are proud to celebrate over 100 years of service to the community. Seattle Milk Fund has 250 volunteer members who serve on a variety of fundraising and service committees. This year, we will provide 168 children with daycare grants, 56 students with education scholarships, 850 children with backpacks and age appropriate school supplies, and 400 children with a new pair of shoes.
The successful candidate will have:
5 years efficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office package (some accounting related college credits a plus)
A strict attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
A Positive Attitude
A minimum of 50 WPM
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimum supervision
Ability to be flexible with changing demands and to take direction from multiple people
Job duties include: administrative and bookkeeping, answering phones, maintaining recordkeeping systems and overall organization of our office,
payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable (nonprofit related a plus), posting deposits and credit card payments,
as well as maintaining tax records.
The position is for 20 hrs/wk.
