Race Start: 8:00 AM
Start Line: Russell and Camden Streets
Race Limit: 4,000
Restrictions: 1) Participants in the Marathon must be at least 16 years old and 2) Participants must be able to complete the course in 7 hours.
Chip Timing: Once again, all Baltimore Marathon events will be timed using ChampionChip. The ChampionChip will allow for additional services like live results and printed individual results at the finish line. Participants may use their yellow personal ChampionChip. You must provide us with your chip code during registration. All other registered participants will receive a Race issued ChampionChip in their race packet. The Chip must be affixed to your shoe, and records your Race time and splits. All participants MUST wear a ChampionChip in order to receive a time. At the end of the Race, your Race issued ChampionChip must be returned. Chip retrieval volunteers will be located at the Finish Line to help you remove your Chip. All participants are responsible for returning their Race issued ChampionChip. A $30 charge will be charged to participants if the loaner ChampionChip is not returned.
