Kate Hudson, 30, has followed her boyfriend around North America, showing up at games in San Francisco, Miami and Toronto during his winning season, sometimes sitting with her brother Oliver Hudson, her stepdad Kurt Russell and even Jay-Z, who is scheduled to perform his hit Empire State of Mind at Game 2 of the World Series.
Kate Hudson has been cheering, front and center, at baseball games since she was first linked to New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez in May. On Wednesday, the Yanks may have lost their first World Series game in the Bronx – but Kate's record shows she may be A-Rod's secret weapon.
Witness Hudson in her element: ecstatic, coy, occasionally incognito. In June, she watched Rodriguez, 33, hit the homerun that put him at the 11th spot on the all-time homer list. According to one observer, "[She] goes nuts when she watches him play. Her excitement and cheering are infectious."
So will her enthusiasm be enough to help the Boys in Blue pull off come-from-behind win?
Thursday night will tell.
